At one time, people believed that the aliens from outer space had a hand in its constructions, while others believed slaves were forced to build it. The Egyptian ruler Khufu ordered the construction of the pyramid. It was built as his death monument. In the end, the pyramid measured 146 meters tall and 230 meters wide. An estimated 2.3 million stone blocks were used to build it. While it was previously believed that this pyramid was built by slaves or other life forms, archaeologists now know that this pyramid was actually constructed by 20,000 workers from all over the country. This knowledge was completely unknown until a tourist's horse accidentally slipped and found a hidden city deep beneath the desert sands.
